Henry Asencio, born 1972, was raised in Santa Maria, California.  Excelling in art throughout his childhood, Asencio set a goal to become a world class artist at the young age of 11. In 1998, Asencio was the first American artist to receive both the gold and silver medals in self-portrait and figurative studies at the Amsterdam Art Competition. After graduating from the prestigious San Francisco Academy of Art, Asencio began his professional artistic career in 2000 with limited edition mixed media works. More...
