WINGED VISION
Angels cross our paths in silence. They come as visions, as dreams, as light. Softly, as from a long-forgotten dream, an angel materializes out of nothingness. A voice, mystical, insistent, whispers through our being, touches us at our very core. We feel the presence and power of our spiritual guide, the angel at our shoulder.
Frederick Hart at an early age was visited by an angel. It was a sublime experience, foreboding and compelling at the same time. It never left his artistic consciousness evidenced by his portrayal of angels as visionary beings in a number of his works.
