Relates to the grape varietals grown throughout the world that originate from Portugal’s Douro River Valley, a UNESCO world heritage site. The Douro River Valley has been producing wine for nearly two thousand years. This piece pays homage to the many grape varietals from that region. Christensen paints Porto's ancient skyline through two glasses of wine on the varanda.
