Andrew Madvin has created bold and striking, hand-blown glass pieces that have taken him to an international spotlight. These glass pieces are intensified with bright colors and dynamic designs. Furthermore, each piece is crafted with a blend of colored and clear glass that achieves an illuminating quality. Madvin developed methods that have solidified his creativity and design. In addition, he created a unique quality glass collection with his thorn bowl, star and stone, and flower designs.

Madvin found his love for sculpting in high school where he took metal and jewelry classes. In fact, he built a passion for both mediums and earned himself national scholastic art awards and work as a custom jeweler. Furthermore, Madvin enhanced his education at The College of Creative Studies, in Detroit. He elevated his studies by dropping jewelry and adding sculpture and glass to his career. Ultimately, his devotion to sculpture and glass grew into his designs.

Madvin is currently working in Detroit where his produces all of his original artworks with high quality. While he creates his customizable thorn bowls, he also fuses glass flowers to metal called sun dancers. These stunning wall sculptures fill open spaces with large-scale flower compositions.
