Correia Art is a small family-owned studio, founded in 1973 by Steven V. Correia. Currently, Algerine Correia serves as the president and main designer. In addition, her brother Jeffery creates avant-garde designs that keep the studio in the forefront of handmade glass.

Many art collections own Correia glass. For example, one can find their art within the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian, and the Chrysler Museum of Art .
