Frederick Hart began his fine art career by stumbling upon a sculpture class after years of grieving and moving around in his youth. After his mother and sister passed away, he relocated to multiple locations before the age of 18. All things considered; he was failing out of school until he discovered a sculpture class at the Corcoran School of Art. His art career flourished after he discovered his true passion through sculpture in school.
Hart became one of the most popular sculpture artists of all time. He studied and experimented with several techniques of sculpture which made him a master of these mediums. As a result, Hart won the opportunity to create the West Façade for the Washington National Cathedral. Working on this grand sculpture that took Hart ten years to finish gained him world wide recognition for his masterful artwork. In addition, he created Three Soldiers for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and The Cross Millennium for the Pope. Hart created iconic masterpieces throughout his lifetime.
