After a successful career as a physical therapist, Debbie decided to return to her first love, painting. Therefore, she began studying art under both local and international artists. Consequently, her mastery of fine art allowed her to focus on what truly interested her – abstraction. Debbie is a mixed media artist who paints impressionistically using oils and acrylics. Additionally, she loves to add unusual elements to her work. For instance, she uses sand, holographic pigment, paper, canvas, and glass. Furthermore, her works feature abstracted elements that provoke viewers to rediscover recognizable elements in their lives. Debbie wants collectors to create their own stories from her work based on their own unique life experiences.

Debbie’s figurative works often highlight motherhood, family matters and societal influences. She says, “Of all my creations, my daughters are what make me the most proud, a work that continues to mature and unveil new layers of beauty with each passing year.”
