Evans is a landscape painter that lives and works in China. He predominantly studied oil painting while in school and graduated with a BA in painting at the Beijing Art Academy in 1994.  Since finishing college, Evans has become best known for his large, vibrant landscape paintings that he creates using thick brush strokes and a palette knife. He incorporates rich jewel tones and bold pattern through his painting technique that transports the viewer to distant gardens and groves of exotic plants where can be lost in the serenity of the scene. He has had many exciting exhibition around China, Shanghai, and Beijing areas and was introduced to the United States through New York Art Expo in 1997. His paintings can be found in select galleries throughout the US and abroad.
