Siempre Hay Amor (There is Always Love) by M. P. Gerald
Large Yellow Flower on Canvas
Artwork Description:
- Canvas Size: 60″ x 40″
- Framed Size: 67.5″ x 47.5″
- Medium: Original Oil On Canvas
- Condition: Artwork is in excellent condition. Frame has some minor dents and chips on the lower corners.
Born in 1963 in the town of Ancash, Peru, Gerald’s affinity for art became apparent at an early age. It was no wonder he was born with creativity flowing through him since he came from a family of artists: his father is a painter and his mother is a well-known ceramist.
Gerald has taken the artistic talent passed down to him and transformed it into an ability to take the world around him and put its power and life onto a canvas. His subject matter ranges from pop icons and urban scenes, to incredibly photorealistic flowers that seem to reach out of the canvas, waiting to be plucked.
He studied in the Esculea Nacional De Bellas Artes De Lima under the direction of well-known masters like Milner Cajahuaringa and Miguel Angel Cuadros. He graduated from the art school in 1988, being awarded the second place prize. His work is now collected throughout the Americas and Europe, and his paintings can be seen in various fine art galleries and private art collections.
