During middle school, his art teacher recognized his innate skill and suggested further training. Kensett began experimenting with pastels and watercolors, eventually graduating from Pusan Art School and obtaining a degree from Dong A. University of Art in 1983. Subsequently, he embarked on a career as an art instructor at the Art Institute in Korea.

Joining the Seoul International Artists Association, Kensett showcased his work in the Seoul Gallery and participated in the Artist Exchange Program across Korea, Japan, and China. Participating in prestigious exhibitions such as “The Great Art Exhibition” for the Korean government and the Seoul Realistic Art Exhibit, Kensett gained international recognition. His landscapes, characterized by a European romantic essence, beckon viewers to immerse themselves in their beauty, evoking a sense of serenity and longing.
