Encouraged by her aunt who was also an artist, Manaz began her painting career at an early age. Manaz’s philosophy began to unfold: to create art that exists to reaffirm the wonder of life and bring hope and joy to those who see it.

Influenced by tenets of romanticism and aesthetics, Manaz’s works convey her abiding belief in the spiritual renewal that takes place when confronted by pure beauty.

The symbolic expression that portrays this view is the beauty of women. Manaz’s women are interpreted as maiden, sister, lover, wife, and mother. The subjects in her paintings are women in harmony with the natural world as well as the realm of fantasy.

Known for her magnificent flowers, Manaz transforms exquisite blossoms like irises, tulips, and birds of paradise into romantic, compelling images with sharpness, color, movement, edge, and light.

After Manaz undertook her formal training at the Academy of Fine Art, she participated in many one person and group exhibitions at prestigious galleries, and for a small number of carefully selected exhibitions in the United States and other corners of the world.
