These colorful glass wall sculptures use a combination solid colored glass squares fused together in a wavy grid pattern. Choose the size and color combinations that best fit your space and vision!“Some would call me a Glass artist, but that’s only a medium. I love colour, Precious objects of many materials and mixing things up. Glass would be considered one of my main materials in making the colour “RetroMesh” pieces that I became more known for. Though Renato Foti began his career as a painter, after an introduction to glass as a sculptural material in 1992, casting became his primary means of expression. Additionally, his current work focuses on fused and slumped glass wall sculptures and other sculptural pieces. Likewise, his large-scale wall creations are composed of fused glass made out of a variety of color segments, forming a strong sense of balance and harmony. Consequently, the segments alone are very simple, yet together, they form a more complex chain that fits naturally together.
Furthermore, Foti’s extraordinary glassware combines his love of the material with superb functionality and craftsmanship. Lest, each piece of glass is hand cut, fused, ground, and slumped. Hence, by using top-of-the-line art glass, vibrant colors, and precise firing conditions, Foti ensures that all of his work is of the highest quality.
