Jeff Dixon creates stunning abstract compositions that are explosive with color and shape.  In addition, each piece shares a similar color palette but is complete unique in its arrangement of texture and shape.  Dixon applies thick textures mixed with strategic colors to make trick the eye into believing it is one shape or one hue.  As a result, audiences will be pulled into the large-scale artworks due to their bold compositions and striking colors.  Dixon finishes the experience by exposing his detailed color mixtures and line work when standing close to each artwork.

Dixon was born in a small Chinese village where his grandfather also taught him traditional art forms.  As a result, Dixon’s desire to be an artist began early in his childhood.  Dixon followed his grandfather’s legacy and continued studying artwork throughout school.  As a result, Dixon retaught himself in the arts and learned how to become more fluid with abstract shapes and colors.  With this, he studied at the Beijing Art Academy where he specialized in traditional art forms combined with contemporary abstractions.
