Victor Ball was born in the small village of Young Joo, Kyungam; he spent his childhood days where he was surrounded by beautiful nature. Even at a very early age, Victor was noticed for his precocious talents, he loved to mimic pictures from comic books or magazines with his simple brushes and pencils. Victor loved to give away his drawings to his friends. Victor spent most of his time drawing landscapes during his elementary school years, as he grew older, he moved to Seoul to attend high school. Shortly thereafter, he volunteered an art studio, to gain more experience in painting and surround himself with what he loved.
After graduating from high school, Victor was drafted for military service. During his consignment, he was sent to a base near the 38 degree parallel. While he was serving his nation, he was commissioned by his commanding officers to paint a landscape of the North and South Korean border. It was a landscape whose beauty was still untouched and preserved from human hands. After serving 3 years in the military, he found a job as an art studio instructor at a newspaper agency. While he was not teaching, he was able to concentrate his spare time on his own painting. Viktor is also a member of the Mokwoo Association, which is the foremost Korean artist association. Many of his creative works have the good fortune of being exhibited and sold in galleries throughout Asia, Europe and the United States.
