Bronislaw Giefert Biography

Bronislaw Giefert was born, raised, and presently resides in Poland-where he currently owns and operates a glass studio.

After graduating from the academy at Krosno Glassworks, Giefert utilized his degree during his employment at KHS. He moved to Germany to work for Essner Glass Gallery in Essen, followed by 20 years in the Borowski Glass Studios.

He has collaborated with glass artists in the USA and Canada, traveling often to both countries becoming more recognized with each visit.

To Giefert, ‘glass is a medium that people are fascinated by, no other material plays with light and color as well.’  With this in mind, the artist has forged his unique sense of style with a beautiful and emotional connection to form. He is known for his avant-garde styling and use of brilliant color in his glass sculptures and is unmistakably unique. Today many of the masterpieces created by Bronislaw Giefert can be seen in renowned galleries throughout the Europe as well as select fine art galleries in the United
