This Peace Dove sculpture, grasping an olive brance in its beak, is a version of the dove that graced the Noah’s Arc sculpture that Michael commissioned for the President of Armenia to present to Pope Francis on the occasion of his pilgrimage to Armenia this year. Very rare – one of a 25 piece limited edition.
“I feel a connection to the symbolism of Noah’s Ark and have represented it before in my work. The story of Noah has biblical associations to Mount Ararat, in historic Armenia, and is a powerful reminder of Armenia’s place as the world’s first Christian nation. The story of Noah’s journey has deep meaning across various cultures and is interpreted in various world religions.”
