Tiboli (Ahn, Seung-Koo) was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1955. He graduated from Kyung Hee University in 1988. He is well known for his abstracts, contemporary landscapes and floral paintings. Tiboli’s techniques involve rich textured oils combined with unique blends of thick brushstrokes and pallet knife skills.
“I’m really a colorist. That’s what challenges me.” -Tiboli
For over two decades, Tiboli staged several private and public exhibitions throughout Korea, Greater Asia, Europe, and the United States. In 1999, he debuted in the U.S. at New York’s Art Expo. With this success, Tiboli received director award from Korean Art Association, World Art Association, and KiFA, amongst other organizations.
Today, his painting are on display at select fine art gallery throughout the United States, Asia and Europe
