Water Lilies III
Mulio
Medium: Original Oil on Canvas
Retail Price: $895.00
Size: 36″ x 24″
Mulio was born in 1949 in Barcelona, Spain. He was instilled with knowledge of design and drawing from a very young age. Mulio did not delay submerging himself in the complicated world of painting.
Before painting, Mulio designed and created book covers and other types of illustrations for a period of time. Without a doubt, this activity helped him to acquire agility and an aptitude for drawing. Learning to draw was a vital aspect to the future development of his pictorial dedication as a painter.
One must look for the pictorial precedents of his artistic career in passion, illusion, and affection to somehow reproduce that which is close to him. He spent some time in San Feliu de Guixols, and here was placed in contact with the unique scenery of this beautiful coastal area. Mulio became drawn into this beauty continually renewed as he placed his easels before these landscapes so as to transmit to the canvas the constant emotion that this scenery provokes. The warm earth and jewel tones of the landscapes embraced and captured by Mulio attract even the most sublime audience.
Mulio’s artwork can be found in fine art galleries through the United States and Europe.
